Contact us

Questions, bug reports, refund help, or anything else about Lisper — write to hello@subless.dev. We reply to every message, normally within two business days.

To get a useful answer faster, tell us:

  • Whether you are on a Mac or an iPhone, and which version of macOS or iOS.
  • The Lisper version, shown at the bottom of Settings.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.

Lisper is not hearing me

Lisper needs microphone permission, and it only records while a dictation you started is running.

  • Mac: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone, and switch Lisper on. Lisper does not need Accessibility access: it copies each transcript to the clipboard, ready to paste with ⌘V.
  • iPhone: Settings › Lisper › Microphone.

If the meter moves but the text is wrong, try speaking a little closer to the microphone — recognition runs on your device, so a quieter room helps more than a faster connection.

The trial, and what the unlock costs

Lisper includes 5 minutes of free dictation, counted only while you are actually dictating. After that, the one-time Full Unlock removes the limit for good. It is a single purchase, not a subscription, and it covers both the Mac app and the iPhone app through Apple's universal purchase.

I paid, but Lisper is still locked

  • Open Lisper and choose Restore Purchases — on the Mac in Settings › App Store Unlock, on iPhone in the unlock sheet.
  • Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple Account you bought the unlock with, and that it has an internet connection so the App Store can confirm the purchase.
  • If it still will not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

Refunds

All purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is broken, tell us first — we would rather fix it than have you ask for your money back.

The iPhone keyboard

Add it in Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard › Lisper. Turning on Allow Full Access lets the keyboard read the latest transcript that Lisper itself put on the pasteboard, and open Lisper to start dictating. It sends nothing anywhere and does not log what you type.

Your data

Transcription happens on your device and your transcripts stay there. Lisper collects no analytics and has no account to sign in to. Deleting the app deletes your timeline and settings with it. The full details are in the privacy policy.
